Chapter 8
After he left she ran to her room to get dressed. She went to her closet and pulled out a brown dress, looking through the drawers she found her underclothes and the rest of what else she was gonna wear for the day. It was then that the doorbell rang. Karen was in the middle of dressing so once again she got her robe and put it on luckily she was in her bra and underwear.
When she opened the door her friends were there Amy, Maura and Candy. She was surprised to see them there, but with Amy it was all her doing bringing Maura and Candy. Standing there in her robe, Karen just let them in.
"You guys make yourself at home. I gotta get dressed." She ran to her room to finish getting dressed.
Amy went with Karen and talked to her while she dressed. "So where is he?"
"Daniel, he had to go. He had an important meeting." She said slipping the dress over her head.
"Ah I was so looking forward to meeting him." Amy sat on Karen's messed up bed.
"Don't worry you'll meet him. I got another guest coming in a few minutes." Karen looked at herself in the mirror. She quickly brushed her hair and put on her shoes.
"Who's coming?" She asked.
"Leonardo DiCaprio." Karen told Amy.
"Oh my god, your shitting me right." Amy had loved Leo.
"Nope." She smiled over at Amy.
She walked with her to the other room. Karen sat with Maura and Candy who were chatting about movies and what they had seen lately.
"Guys, you won't believe who is coming over in a few seconds." Amy announced.
"Who?" Maura and Candy asked.
"Leonardo DiCaprio, the Titanic hunk." Amy could barely hold her breath.
"OH my Jesus!" Maura was in shock.
"Really Karen?" Candy asked.
"Yep and I want you guys on your best behavior. He's coming over for business, all right." She reminded them.
"Sure its not for pleasure? I would lose my virginity to him anytime." Amy taunted her.
"Amy, I am not gonna even reply to that." Karen snickered.
"Did you bang Daniel yet?" Maura asked.
"Maura! Ah, I can't answer that." Karen was shy.
"You did and it shows." Candy said out loud.
"How was it, since he was your first." Amy asked.
"Daniel, wasn't my first." Karen frowned.
"Who got the honors?" Amy looked at her wondering.
Karen didn't answer at first. She looked up at them. "I promise to tell you guys the whole story, but the honors go to Leonardo."
"Oh my god, Karen you don't even like Leo." Amy was so jealous.
"I know and I don't, he's in love with me." Karen got up and walked to the door when she heard the doorbell.
Leonardo held a briefcase. "Hello Gorgeous." He smiled.
"Leo, I would like to introduce you to some friends." She let him in.
"Amy, Maura and Candy. I would like to introduce you to Leo. Karen walked to where she was sitting before.
Her friends were suddenly quiet. "Would you like anything to drink, Leo." Karen asked him.
"Nah, I am good." He relaxed in a chair across from her.
"Leo, my friend Amy is a big fan of yours I was wondering if you could give her the usual." Karen asked him.
"Sure, which one is Amy?" He got up and looked at all three girls.
Karen went to get her camera and Amy answered Leo. She turned kinda pink and spoke up. "I'm Amy."
Karen looked over at Leo who was closely talking to Amy. She could see her giggle as Karen put together her camera with her digital memory card.
She walked over to the two who were talking. "Okay Leo and Amy ready?"
Leo turned around and leaned close to Amy. Amy was extremely happy. Karen smiled at them both then she clicked the camera button and a flash appeared.
"All right, group pic?" Karen shouted.
Maura and Candy got close to Amy and Leo and they all gathered together. They all cheered. Amy had surprised Leo and kissed him on the cheek. Karen took the shot and smiled.
"OK girls off Leo. He and I need to talk business now." Karen said.
Leo went into her kitchen and took his briefcase. Karen put her camera down and told her friends to chill while she and Leo were discussing things. They agreed to be good and they stood there on the couch.
Karen went into the kitchen only to be surprised by Leo. He took hold of her and kissed her. She was stunned that he would actually do that.
"I'm sorry I couldn't help it. You looked so pretty today." He apologized.
"Just don't do that again." She said and sat down.
"I see sex agree's with you." He said.
"Yeap, I was enjoying myself last night with Daniel. We are a couple now." She smiled.
"Ah I see glad you two are together now." He said with a straight face.
"You liar, don't pretend your glad were together." Karen leaned forward.
"What did you want me to say Princess?" He acted normal and leaned forward.
"You know you want me so bad. That if I asked you to do me right now in this kitchen that you would damn well do it." She winked at him.
"Maybe just answer one thing truthfully." Leo sat there smiling at her.
"What?" She leaned back and sat on her chair.
"You've been thinking a lot about me and it kills you that you can't have me." He leaned back in his chair.
"All right, yes I have been thinking about you. But that's only because you and Daniel are in the same movie together. As for can't having you." She moved out of her seat and got close to him.
He didn't know what to expect so he was on his guard. He turned his attention toward her. She took hold of his chair and leaned toward him. She didn't meet him head on instead she took his ear into her mouth and just the slightest touch of her tongue gave him the urge to take her like she had been asking him from the moment he arrived.
The commotion in the living room broke up Karen and Leo's intimate confrontation. Karen went out of the kitchen and seen that Daniel had come back early.
"Hey Daniel." She hugged him close and kissed him.
Amy, Maura and Candy watched as they had actually seen that Karen was not lying. Daniel Radcliffe was actually dating Karen.
Leonardo came out of the kitchen and seen that Daniel had arrived at that point he knew the only way to tease Karen was to play at her own game so he went to Amy and sat close to her putting his arm around her. Amy was in shock. Karen seen him do that and it angered her inside. Not only was he teasing her, she didn't want him to hurt her friend. He would get what was coming to him in time.
Maura and Candy looked at their watch and knew that it was time to go. They shook Leo and Daniel's hand before leaving. Amy however stood behind.
Daniel had remembered that he had a chocolate cake in the bag he had left on the floor when Karen kissed him. "Darling, I got what you wanted. I'm gonna put it in the fridge for ya."
"Thank you, Daniel." She nodded her head.
"Leo should we continue on the project you were mentioning earlier?" Karen asked.
"Yeah, excuse me Amy." He got up.
They both walked into the kitchen as Daniel was coming out. "Daniel, Leo has come over to talk about his newest project. So we are gonna be busy in here for a while." Karen took his hand.
"Okay take your time." Daniel brushed her cheek.
"You can chat with my friend, Amy. While I do business." She kissed him and smacked him on the butt.
He looked at her and gave her that eye. The one that told her she would be getting it later.
Karen looked over at Leo who was carefully looking over his pet project. He had pamphlets and maps and a proposal.
"All right Karen, here's your next opportunity." He pushed the contract in front of her.
Karen looked over the paper in front of her. She read it and when she saw what it said she looked at him with a weird face.
"This contract isn't real is it?" She looked at him.
"Of course it is sweetie, my lawyer signed the bottom of it. I can assure you this is a legit contract." He was wondering what she was thinking.
"Your gonna pay me this amount?" She pointed on the paper.
"Yeah why do you want more?" He asked her.
"Leo, this is more than I ever got paid in my lifetime. I can't take this." The amount was at least $50,000. What she hadn't read that it was a photo shoot that would take place in Iceland.
"I want you to take it. Anyways, you'll need gear for the trip." He took out his checkbook and wrote a check to her. He left it blank for the amount of everything she needed this would not include the $50,000 he already promised her.
"Gear?" She read the contract. "Iceland!"
"Before you ask why Iceland let me explain. Vanity Fair is doing their Green issue and they wanted me to take some shots, but I told them only my official photographer would be able to do it. So since you are that is why." He stated.
"Oh my god, a shot for Vanity Fair." She got so excited she kissed Leo on the lips and hugged him.
He loved having her in his arms again. "We leave in two weeks and we are staying for a week." The timeline was not on the contract.
Karen shook her head and understood. "Thank you, Leo for giving me this opportunity you don't realize how much it means to me."
Leo opened his heart to her. "Karen, I'm in love with you."
She looked at him speechless. He announced it, he was in love with her. She didn't know what to say. Karen knew that she loved him in someway, but it didn't matter she had given her heart to Daniel long ago.
