Chapter 9
After Leo had left, announcing his love for her. Amy had went too. Karen went to sit down in front of her plate and thinked about what he had said. She loved Daniel, she really did. Lost in concentration, she starred at the food she had made for her and Daniel and wondered why he had said it, had he really loved her?
Daniel took her hand looking at her as she was playing with her food. He knew something was wrong.
"Karen, is everything all right?" He sensually touched her hand.
Karen looked up at him. She smiled remembering that he was her boyfriend and that he would make her feel better.
"Daniel, Leo offered me a big paycheck to go to iceland for a week on a Vanity Fair shoot." She said.
"When do you go?" He leaned forward.
"I leave in two weeks." She sat there and leaned back putting her fork down and looked at Daniel's hand in hers.
"Well, I would tell you not to go, but this is your job. I don't wanna stop you from anything unless you want a reason?" He hoped he had said it right.
"Daniel, can we talk in the living room. I am not really hungry." She said getting up.
"Sure, I am done anyway's." He left the plate on the table following her to the living room.
She walked to the couch taking his hand and walked with him. She crossed her legs and leaned against him.
"Do you love me, Daniel?" She had to ask him.
"Yes." "Of Course, I do why do you ask." He touched his jacket pocket wondering if he should give her, her surprise now or later.
"Because if you don't. I would just like to know is all." She didn't want to tell him why she wanted to know.
Daniel looked into her eyes. He saw in her that love she had for him. It was true love, but she was puzzled. He had felt it.
"Karen, I bought you something when I was out. I was gonna give this to you later. But maybe this will show you how I really feel about you." He didn't know quite how to give it to her. So he got off the couch and kneeled down on his knees.
When Karen had saw that, she was speechless. Was he already proposing marriage?
She waited to see what he had to say before she would stop him. She put her hand to her mouth.
"Before you say anything let me finish all right." He looked up at her.
He touched her hand and kissed it. "Karen, I never expected to reach this point so fast in our relationship. When I first saw you at that gala I was in love. You made me feel like a man. You didn't treat me like a little boy. And I thank you for being so honest with me. So, Karen since you are my girlfriend and I love you very much. I want you to wear this."
He pulled a little black box out of his jacket and presented her with a glowing diamond ring. It sparkled so brightly she couldn't take her eyes off it.
"Maybe somewhere down the future you will get another one just like this, except it will be an engagement ring. For now, I would like you to look at this as a symbol of my love for you." He put it on her finger.
She was speechless in all reality Daniel had shocked her, but what he failed to mention is that in all reality it was an engagement ring. He had wanted to tell her, but he felt it was too soon.
She put her arms around him and started kissing him. His hand trailed up her thigh, he looked at her. She turned toward him and laid down. She pulled at her buttons on her dress.
Daniel pulled off his jacket and sat there in his jeans which were starting to become very tight he leaned back and undid his jeans. He slipped them off his hips and threw them to the floor. When he looked back at her she sat there in her bra and panties. She had sat up and took his hand.
"Touch me, Daniel." She asked him.
He reached at the sides of her panties and pulled them down off her legs. He looked at her intensely. His eyes, seemed to darken. His erection seemed to throbbed just looking at her. He wanted her bad.
He pulled her down toward him and placed his fingers on her thin frame grabbing her soft bottom and putting his fingers it her mouth. She sucked his fingers gently. She closed her eyes enjoying him as he started starring at her.
He loved it so much he leaned forward putting his tongue in her mouth. She french kissed him loving the way he made her feel. She felt so lucky to be in his arms. As he kissed her, she got his hand and put it between her thighs. She showed him how to massage her. She had been quite embarrassed, but he got the hint.
Never once did he question her, he took order. She felt incredibly wet for him, and her intense moans seemed to excite him.
"Daniel......" She moaned loving the way he was making her ache for him.
He looked down at her and laid down she leaned across and pulled down his boxer shorts. He was standing to attention waiting for her.
She hovered above him and inserted him inside her. Never once thinking about the consequences. She closed her eyes as she thrusted her hips back and forth she felt him jerk as he reached up to grab her breasts.
He loved watching her make love to him. She really loved the way he made love to her. She was enjoying it so much that she didn't hear the doorbell ring.
"Sweetie, someone's at the door." He grabbed her.
She heard the bell and got pissed off. "Go to the bedroom will finish this as soon as who ever it is. Is gone."
He picked up all the clothes and took them to the room. She ran for her robe and answered the door. Her hair was a mess and she was breathing heavy when she answered the door. When she saw who it was, she was surprised.
"April, what are you doing here?" She was amazed to see her younger sister at her doorstep.
"Stopping by, gosh what happened to you?" April looked at Karen.
"Come in, I'll tell you all about it." She dragged her in.
"Karen, are you here with someone?" April had knew something was up.
"My boyfriend is here." She smiled brightly.
"So, it finally happened. Who is the lucky guy?" April put down her bag.
"Daniel Radcliffe." She smiled proudly.
"Yeah right and I am with Leonardo DiCaprio." April laughed.
"No, really hold on. Wait here." She walked to her bedroom and closed the door.
"Sweetie, get dressed. I want you to meet my sister." She saw him waiting in bed for her.
"Sister, I never knew you had a sister." He got up and put on his shorts and a shirt.
"There's alot we need to talk about." She got a pair of underwear and a simple dress and slipped it on.
As soon as she was dressed she came out with Daniel. He saw the young girl on the couch, she was looking in a mirror. When she looked up, she was in a state of shock.
"Oh my god, Karen it really is him." She sat in her chair just looking at Daniel.
"Yeap." Karen leaned back on the couch sitting where she was before.
"Hello, Daniel Radcliffe." He went to shake her hand.
"April, April Archer. I'm Karen's younger sister." April took his hand and shook it.
"So April besides stopping by was there a reason that you came here?" Karen asked.
"I had a fight with my ex-boyfriend. So I left him and since I didn't want to go to my dorm and its summer. I decided to come here and see what was up with you." She sat back on the couch.
"So Daniel how long have you been doing my sister?" She asked point blank.
Karen was embarrassed. "April!"
He smiled, "Not long just the last two days." He wasn't ashamed to tell her sister about it.
"Wow Karen, that was fast." April was surprised.
"Hah, so are you staying here for the night or do you plan to stay elsewhere?" Karen asked April.
"I'll stay here, my room is still the way I left it, right?" April asked her.
"Yeah I haven't been in there since you left." She smiled at her.
"Great, well I am gonna go to bed. You two have fun." She winked at both of them.
April smiled on her way to her room. It had been only a year that she had left and Karen was stuck paying the rent and working various jobs just to pay for their apartment. Their parents had died long ago, Karen was sixteen and April was thirteen when their parents had died in a car crash. After hearing such news, their aunt Laura had let them live in an apartment beside her rent free. But when their aunt passed away Karen dropped out of school just to get a job and take April to school so she could at least get her education.
It was very hard on Karen she went to classes when she didn't work and looked every where she could to get free food and clothes. Karen would come home exhausted and April would wake up during the night feeling guilty that her sister worked so hard just so they could live.
Just before April had entered college, having skipped a few grades because of her excellent grades. Karen started looking for a real career. When she found out a magazine was hiring for a photographer she thought why not give it a shot and so she did. She showed them how motivated she was and how trustworthy she could be. And a week later she got the call.
Karen whispered into Daniel's ear. He got up and took her hand leading her back into her bedroom. They closed the door and never came out after that.
Late that night, Karen had woke up she felt strange like something was happening and she didn't know what. She thought it was something that was wrong with her and then she remembered. When was the last time she actually had a period, she had been so consumed that she couldn't remember. She went to her desk and pulled out a calendar. She had circled January 10th and it was already February 16th, she knew she was late. But how late?
Leonardo and Daniel were the only men she had been with. Well maybe Daniel a little more, if she was pregnant, she would just die. It would be too soon to have a baby at twenty-three. She went into a panic, not only being pregnant at such a young age, but who was the father Leo or Daniel. Feeling overwhelmed she went to the toilet and threw up. She felt like crying, but she couldn't.
She didn't want Daniel to think she only was with him to carry his child. And then to top it all off if Leo was the father, would he make her get rid of it. She couldn't do that. No matter whose it was. She was in trouble.
