It had been a hard day as Billy Costigan walked up and down pacing the interrogation room, the criminal that he had been talking to had been giving him the run around. He was tired of it. Frustration brought out the worst in him; this criminal had not seen his ugly side.
“Are we almost done yet? I got shit to do! Everything is so bad at home, you wouldn’t know the half of it.” Martin had began to feel uncomfortable as Billy paced the room.
“Listen you think your life is bad, you should have tried living my life.” Billy had been frustrated so much he slammed down the file he had been carrying.
“What so bad about your life? You got everything a good job and a helluva lot of woman or so I heard.” Martin had been envious of his life.
“Despite what you might think, you know nothing about me, Martin." "You wanna know me, fine. I’ll tell you my story.” Billy sat down finally and began to tell his story.

“Wow I had no idea.”Martin had been shocked.
”Yeah that’s the story of my life so if you thought you had it hard, think again.” Billy hit him upside the head.
"So am I charged or not.” Martin asked.
“No, we got no evidence to keep you, but if your out of line next time. I’ll be on your back. You’ll never see me and you’ll never know I’m there. But remember this if I could go through all my life doing what I have done, killing you won't be of any consequence to me.” Billy had meant it.
"In that case Mr. Costigan. You will never see me here again." Martin had been scared of Billy now.
Martin closed the door, vowing to never get into trouble again. After hearing Billy's Life all he wanted to do was live a straight life.
